All companies, throughout the world, having done remarkable work in one or more FEA categories, having a WINNER attitude, feeling that they deserve an award for their efforts and achievements and desire to create a success story worth to be communicated are eligible and can run for a FEA.

FEA nominations come in via three ways: self nomination, third-party nomination and cibum nomination. A large part of the nomination process is driven by cibum, throughout the year a great deal of time is spent identifying potentially suitable candidates for each category within their appropriate markets.

A cibum nomination doesn’t hold any more weight than a self, or third-party nomination, they all filter through to the Screening Stage in the same manner.

We do not have judges. Judges are for crimes. In our case a nominee’s proposal is assessed by FEA evaluators, independent individuals well experienced and acknowledged in the food industry. Do not forget FE, from FEA, stands for Food Experts.

The Registration is followed by the contract signing and finally in order the nominee to have a valid registration, the appropiate payment in the bank account has to be done and a proof of payment sent to admin@foodexpertsawards.com before evaluation begins. The entry fee is generally non-refundable.

Yes of course, there needs to be a confirmation from the nominee though. This will be looked after from the FEA nomination team.

Yes you will have a 20% discount. If you are a a cibum official supporter you will have an extra 10% discount.

Yes a company can apply with the same product / service to more than one FEA categories as appropriate, but can aswell run for a FEA with up to 3 different nominations per category and up to 9 totally different nominations per year.

The FEA Administration Commitee asigns each Proposal to 2 different evaluators after checking for any conflict that can be detected. Each evaluator signs a statement of no conflict of interest and confidentiality for each proposal asigned to him.

The nominees list never goes public. The FEA WINNERS list will be announced at the FEA WINNERS Ceremony.

The FEA WINNERS Ceremony is planned to take place on the 18th of February 2023.

No. The entry fee is unrefundable.

No proposal reassessment can be made or questions about the scoring answered.

You can refer to your nomination if you want from the day you register for participation.

No. It is forbidden to announce results before the FEA WINNER Ceremony.

No reporting for unfair evaluation or terms violation report will be used to change the FEA Winners list. Any reports will be checked and assessed and actions may be considered for future use. 

As a FEA WINNER you are intitled to the FEA WINNER Communication Pack.

No extra charge to attend the FEA WINNER Announcement Ceremony. Your ony cost is the entry fee.

The FEA are organized and presented by cibum in assosiation with Detrop/HELEXPO who operates as the FEA host.

A partner may offer financial/product/service support to the FEA project (e.g. administration partner, venue partner, appetizer partner, cocktail/drink partner, trophy partner, accommodation sponsor, etc). 

A sponsor may offer extra product/service awards to the FEA GOLD WINNERS of his sponsored category. Category sponsors of the Year 2023 FEA get first refusal for partnering the same category again in 2024. 

The deadline for decisions for the 2024 Awards is 30th June 2023. After this date the category will be offered to the open market.

Each finalist scoring over 70 out of 100 in the evaluation is a FEA WINNER. Nominations scoring over 80 are FEA Silver WINNERS and over 90 FEA Gold WINNERS.

So it is likely to have more than one FEA GOLD or SILVER WINNER in a category or none depending on the gathering of the required scoring.
