To encourage and reward companies that move towards the production of products with no artificial additives or preservatives, or not listing ingredients that may be perceived by consumers as undesirable, keeping at the same time food safety, taste, nutrition, shelflife and convenience to the most high level.
Category Eligibility
All companies having done remarkable work in designing, producing and marketing clean label products, promoting in this way a healthier and more natural diet, throughout the world are eligible.

Category Evaluation Criteria
- Describe your clean label statement (development path, final specifications, production description)
- Point out the undesirable ingredients left out
- Refer to similar products in the market that include he undesirable ingredients in their formula
- Present the production and packing method that ensures food safety, shelf life stability and product quality. Refer to your verification plan
- Evaluate the impact to a healthy diet
- Describe the way you communicate your clean label strategy to the inerested parties and the market
- Refer to any distinctions you have achieved or goals you have accomplished till now
